Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Reception Desk in Atlantic City, NJ to welcome residents and visitors, control access, monitor cameras, and respond to alarms while delivering excellent customer service. This front desk role supports a residential site with a welcoming environment and safety at its core.

You will maintain professional presence, document activity, and work with a team that upholds integrity and service in daily operations and incident handling.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screening per law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors by following site procedures and access-control practices.
• Maintain a professional front-desk presence, greet visitors and verify access per policy.
• Monitor entry points, cameras and alarms, reporting issues to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents calmly and coordinate with emergency services as directed.
• Maintain daily activity reports and incident documentation for the site.
