Job summary

Cypress Creek is seeking a Food Service Cook to ensure healthy and tasty meals are prepared in compliance with federal, state, and local requirements. You will supervise the Food Service team, oversee orders and inventory, and maintain strict sanitary practices in prepping, cooking, and serving areas.

We offer a 40-hour work week with competitive pay of $45,000 per year, plus medical, dental, vision and life insurance within 90 days, a 401k match up to 6% after 1 year, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Two years of scratch cooking experience
• ServSafe Food Handler certification required
• ServSafe Manager certification must be obtained within 60 days
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must pass criminal background, drug, and TB tests
• Must meet driver eligibility with a valid license

Responsibilities

• Prepare healthy and tasty food in accordance with federal, state, and local requirements.
• Perform prep and cooking duties and maintain sanitary practices in prep, cooking and serving areas.
