Job summary

Engineered Floors is seeking a Sales Territory Manager for the residential division in Oakland, CA. The role focuses on selling flooring products and building durable customer relationships to drive profitable, ongoing sales.

You will cover assigned accounts with efficient, proactive management and report performance to leadership. Candidates should have outside sales experience, strong presentation skills, and a high school diploma (college degree preferred).

Qualifications

• Ability to establish and maintain relationships.
• Outside sales experience required; experience in industry sales preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and establish new accounts to increase sales.
• Develop knowledge and enthusiasm for product lines.
• Inform District or Regional Manager of potential problems or issues of concern.
• Demonstrate skills in overcoming adversity and temporary disadvantages.
• Discover customer needs and/or reservations.
• Demonstrate perseverance, tenacity, and grit in pursuing sales.
• Exhibit excellence in presentation and sales skills with organized, efficient account management, and a plan for each account.
• Use samples and other sales tools with proficiency.
• Use technical skills to operate a paperless management of sales and accounts.
• Submit all reports and inquiry responses accurately and on-time.
• Maintain a professional demeanor, behavior, and appearance at all times.
