Job summary

West Shore Home in Boston, MA is seeking a Flooring Installer to perform safe, high‑quality flooring installations following SOPs and PPE guidelines, with a customer‑focused approach.

You will load materials at the warehouse by 6:30 AM, travel to homes, remove old flooring, install new flooring and trim, clean thoroughly, and handle paperwork and payments before returning to the warehouse.

Qualifications

• Experience installing windows/doors, and remodeling or construction preferred.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must have a smartphone for logging into company systems.

Responsibilities

• Load materials and trucks by 6:30 AM.
• Travel to customers and establish rapport.
• Demo and replace existing flooring; install new floors and trim.

Position: Flooring Installer

Location: Boston, MA

Schedule: Monday-Friday with a start time of 6:30 AM

Purpose of Position:

The Flooring Installer will assist in performing safe and effective installations following all Company standard operating procedures (SOPs) and PPE protocol while providing customers with a 5-star experience.

Key Role Accountabilities:

• Arrive at warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks
• Travel to customer’s home, greet them, and establish rapport
• Demo and remove existing flooring, install replacement floors, and replace trim
• Clean up thoroughly, showing care for the customer’s home
• Collect paperwork and payment, then return to warehouse

Compensation:

The approximate hourly for this position is $21-$26 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience installing window/doors, carpentry, remodeling, construction – or a hunger to learn!
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
• Must have a valid smart phone or smart device in order to log into Company required systems using two-factor authentication
