Osterna, part of RMG and Places for People Group, is seeking an experienced Residential Fire Risk Assessor to join a proactive team covering Birmingham and surrounding areas. You will be home-based when not conducting site visits, typically completing up to 10 assessments per week with some national travel.

The role involves inspecting residential properties including blocks, sheltered housing, HMOs and high-rise buildings, and writing clear reports for managers. Travel may be required.

Formación

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Experience undertaking fire risk assessments in residential property, including high-rise buildings.
• NEBOSH National Certificate in Fire Safety and Level 3 NEBOSH National General Certificate.
• Experience with HSFRA and Compartmentation Surveys.
• Strong report writing with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation as it applies to property management.
• Knowledge of The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
• LaCORS experience would be great, though not essential.

Responsabilidades

• Support safeguarding and safety culture across Places for People and Osterna.
