Job summary

Leola Construction seeks a Field Superintendent to oversee residential construction sites in Florida with a focus on safety, quality, and on-time delivery. You will coordinate slab, block, and framing work, manage subcontractors, and maintain clear communication with clients and project managers.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, 2+ years of management experience, and a valid driver’s license; OSHA 10 certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• OSHA 10-Hour Certification Preferred

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between clients, subcontractors, and employees, fostering strong relationships to ensure project success.
• Oversee daily operations on residential construction sites, managing slab, block, and framing activities to meet plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Lead subcontractors with accountability, ensuring high-quality work and a safe job site.
• Conduct site inspections and progress reviews, using strong analytical and decision-making skills to address issues proactively.
• Enforce safety protocols and compliance with local building codes, leveraging time management skills to keep projects on track.
• Coordinate material deliveries and equipment usage to optimize resources and maintain efficiency.
• Communicate clearly with project managers and clients, providing detailed updates and reports to maintain transparency.
