Job summary

Maymont Homes is seeking a Maintenance Field Manager to lead our in-house maintenance team within the single-family rental portfolio. The role ensures timely, high-quality work orders, strong resident satisfaction, and adherence to company standards, blending hands-on technical leadership with operational oversight.

You will manage field operations, mentor technicians, enforce safety standards, and partner with dispatch to optimize workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in maintenance, facilities management, or operations leadership.
• Experience supervising field maintenance teams.
• Residential property management or single-family rental experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field maintenance operations to ensure timely completion of work orders and service requests.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance and support to maintenance technicians in the field.
• Conduct field visits to assess performance, resolve complex issues, and ensure quality standards.
• Train technicians on company standards, safety procedures, and best practices for residential maintenance.
• Develop proactive maintenance strategies to improve efficiency and reduce reactive work.
• Coordinate with dispatch teams to ensure operational alignment and standardize processes.
• Monitor and enforce safety regulations, codes, and documentation across the field team.
• Drive accountability for performance, resources, and cost management.
