Job summary

Maymont Homes is seeking a Maintenance Field Manager to lead the in-house maintenance technician team across the single-family rental portfolio. The role ensures timely, high-quality work orders while maintaining resident satisfaction and adherence to company standards.

You will act as a hands-on technical leader and operational manager, driving field performance, accountability, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in maintenance, facilities management, or operations leadership.
• Experience managing or supervising field maintenance teams required.
• Residential property management or single-family rental experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field maintenance operations to ensure timely completion of work orders and service requests.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance and support to maintenance technicians in the field.
• Conduct field visits to assess performance, resolve complex issues, and ensure quality standards are met.
• Train technicians on company standards, safety procedures, and best practices for residential maintenance.
• Develop and implement proactive maintenance strategies to improve efficiency and reduce reactive work.
• Organize and manage high-volume technician workflows through effective delegation and scheduling support.
