Job summary

Rosewood-Park-Retirement- is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to handle upkeep of the Community, including common areas, apartments, grounds and safety equipment. The role requires responding to maintenance requests, performing routine cleaning and painting, and assisting in emergency preparedness.

Responsibilities also include upkeeping HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems, and coordinating with management on safety inspections and rent-ready apartments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of facility maintenance experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drywall repair.
• Ability to follow health and safety regulations in elder care facilities.

Responsibilities

• Respond to scheduled and on-call maintenance requests for common areas and apartments.
• Maintain building, equipment and exterior to high standards.
• Clean and paint floors; winterize/de-winterize to protect from weather.
• Handle special projects to maintain or enhance the Community.
• Assist with housekeeping as needed for maintenance and upkeep.
• Ensure annual safety equipment inspections are completed.
• Help ensure apartments are rent-ready for resident move-ins.
• Use TEL plant maintenance software to manage work orders and preventive maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
