Job summary

Aztec Shops Ltd. in San Diego seeks a skilled facilities technician to maintain and coordinate residential housing facilities across multiple properties.

You will inspect units, manage preventative maintenance, track work orders, and support operations with vendors and internal teams. You will supervise facilities staff, collaborate with property management and university partners, ensure safety compliance, and help plan capital projects.

Qualifications

• Four years of progressively responsible experience in building maintenance and building systems repair.
• Thorough knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, mechanical systems.
• EPA Section 608 certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance and repair activities across multiple residential properties.
• Inspect units, common areas, and building systems to identify maintenance, safety, and operational concerns.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs and track progress and documentation.
• Supervise facilities staff and coordinate with vendors, property management, and university personnel.
