Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in residential estate landscaping, fine gardening, or horticulture-focused landscape management.
• Solid horticultural knowledge including plant identification and health care.
• Detail-oriented with focus on garden aesthetics and long-term stewardship.
• Strong communication skills for client advisement and education.
• Comfort with budgeting and the business side of residential accounts.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary account manager for assigned residential estate gardens, building trust through expertise and discretion.
• Develop and refine customized garden maintenance plans based on plant needs and client goals.
• Conduct regular property walks focused on plant health, pruning, soil, and aesthetics.
• Identify horticultural issues and offer recommendations to enhance garden performance.
• Cultivate relationships with clients by communicating clearly about plant care and seasonal priorities.
• Perform quality inspections to ensure high-end estate standards.
• Manage account budgets related to routine maintenance and enhancements.
• Identify and propose enhancements such as seasonal color and plant replacements.
• Participate in client walk-throughs and seasonal planning discussions.
• Support seasonal initiatives and special projects as needed.
