Job summary

Near North Title Group is seeking a Residential Escrow Assistant to support the Escrow team through each stage of the closing process. No experience required but eagerness to learn is essential.

The role involves reviewing title commitments, scheduling closings, and handling document setup in SoftPro, with opportunities to grow in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You will assist with customer support, verify vesting details, and coordinate with lenders, examiners, and principals to

Qualifications

• 1+ years of title/escrow experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Administrative or operations support experience preferred.
• Fast-learner with a positive attitude in fast-paced environments.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• SoftPro experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer support by answering calls and emails.
• Review title commitments to verify vesting, legal descriptions, and accuracy.
• Consult with examiners, lenders, and principals to reconcile discrepancies.
• Schedule closings and review closing packages.
• Disburse files and set up/retrieve recordable documents for E-Recording through SoftPro.
• Prepare closing files for escrow closers and monitor the escrow inbox.
• Prepare prelim CDs and process the final CD.
• Assist with marketing (social media and events).
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
