Job summary

Base Power is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to design and integrate the next generation of residential energy storage, inverter, and MID systems. You will work with hardware engineers to build safe, reliable hardware that powers homes and communities.

The role requires strong electrical fundamentals and hands-on experience with energy storage hardware, from BMS to power electronics. You will collaborate with software teams to ensure seamless hardware/software integration in an in-person

Qualifications

BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or related field with 3+ years hardware development experience.
Strong fundamentals in circuit analysis, analog/digital electronics, and high‑voltage design.
Experience with residential energy storage or power systems preferred.

Responsibilities

Design and integrate BMS, inverters, and MID hardware for residential energy applications.
Develop and maintain system architecture and electrical schematics for multi‑component energy systems.
Conduct testing, validation, and troubleshooting of integrated hardware systems.
Collaborate with software teams to ensure hardware/software integration and control algorithms.
Support regulatory compliance and product certification processes.
