Job summary

Base is building next-gen residential energy storage hardware. We seek a Systems Integration Engineer to design and integrate BMS, inverters, and MID systems for home energy storage.

You will help create scalable, safe hardware that powers homes and communities. Ideal candidates hold a BS/MS in EE with 3+ years hardware dev experience, strong HV design fundamentals, and hands-on work with energy storage hardware.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering (or related field) with 3+ years of hardware development experience.
• Strong fundamentals in circuit analysis, electronics, and high-voltage design.
• Experience with energy storage hardware and BMS concepts.
• Understanding of safety systems and regulatory considerations.

Responsibilities

• Design and integrate BMS, inverters, and MID hardware for residential energy systems.
• Develop and maintain system architecture and electrical schematics.
• Conduct testing, validation, and troubleshooting of integrated hardware.
• Collaborate with software teams for HW/SW integration and control algorithms.
• Support regulatory compliance and product certification processes.
