Job summary

We Energies is hiring a Residential Energy Services Consultant in Fort Atkinson, WI. You will be the primary customer contact for residential and small commercial needs, coordinating service delivery, outages, rewires, relocations, and related paperwork with internal teams and external partners.

The role requires a strong focus on customer service, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple requests from homeowners, developers, and contractors.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent education in engineering, marketing, business administration, project management or finance or four years of Wisconsin Field Operations experience with customer service
• At least three years of customer contact experience
• Valid driver’s license and meeting company driving requirements

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary customer contact for residential and small commercial customers on service delivery and inquiries
• Coordinate service connections, rewirings, relocations, hold-offs, and other requests with internal teams and contractors
• Provide cost estimates using standard cost guide information for new service, rewires and relocations
• Explain service options and prices to customers and relay information to appropriate teams
• Schedule and manage outages, installations, and site visits as needed
• Respond to meter requests, inquiries, and documentation for Meter & Service
• Coordinate with municipalities and developers for new premises and annexations
• Respond to customer inquiries and emergencies and provide proactive communication on job status
