PEG, LLC is a diversified energy efficiency and engineering firm focused on building energy performance in the Eastern and Central United States. The company seeks motivated individuals to become certified HERS Raters and perform Home Energy Audits in the Richmond, VA region.

Position includes visual inspections, blower door tests, and duct leakage testing in accordance with RESNET/ ENERGY STAR guidelines, with paid on-the-job training and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• HERS Rater, Energy Star, Green Building, ACCA 310 HVAC Grading, IECC, HVAC EPA, BPI, and LEED Certifications are a plus.
• 2 years of work experience in HVAC, home remodeling, or construction is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform Home Energy Audits in accordance with RESNET/ Energy Star Guidelines, including visual observation of energy features and tests of building performance.
• Blower Door and Duct Leakage Testing using field equipment to meet industry standards.
• Develop relationships with builders and code officials through professional communication.
