Gentry Service Group in the Asheville area is seeking a Residential Electrical Helper/Installer to work with our Lead Electrician on residential retrofit and upgrade projects. This paid training role offers a clear path for advancement for someone with an electrical background seeking hands-on experience and strong pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of electrical field experience.
• Valid driver's license with insurable driving record.
• Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with customers and team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Electrician with residential retrofit and upgrade projects.
• Install A/C and heat pump disconnects.
• Run new circuits for furnaces, air handlers, and other equipment.
• Help with electrical panel replacements and generator installations.
• Support various electrical tasks for residential and light commercial customers.
• Maintain safety standards and proper trade techniques.
