Job summary

Raleigh Lanehart Electric in Apex, NC is seeking an entry level residential electrician to join our team. This in-person role requires basic electrical work for homes, with training provided on site and opportunities to grow within the company.

The position offers a daytime schedule, competitive hourly pay, and a network of benefits for full-time employees. Relocation is not required, but being within commuting distance to Apex, NC is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must pass a drug screen.
• Valid Social Security Card.
• Valid state driver's license with clean record.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand, kneel, and pull continuously during a 10 hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, devices, and fixtures using hand and power tools.
• Trace out short circuits in wiring using a test meter.
• Measure, cut and bend wire and conduit using measuring tools and hand tools.
• Maintain tools, vehicles, equipment and keep parts and supplies in order.
• Drill holes and pull wiring through openings using hand and power tools.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers and other components.

Residential Electrician Daily Duties:

• Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
• Trace out short circuits in wiring, using test meter.
