Job summary

Gentry Service Group Western North Carolina (Asheville Area) is hiring a Residential Electrical Helper / Installer to assist the Lead Electrician on residential retrofit and upgrade projects. This full-time position offers hands-on experience, competitive pay based on experience, and benefits.

You will gain paid training, learn proper trade techniques, install disconnects, run circuits, and support generator installations while upholding high safety standards.

Qualifications

Ability to perform the physical demands of electrical installation work.
Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record.
Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
Good communication skills and ability to work well with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

Assist the Lead Electrician with residential electrical retrofit and upgrade projects.
Install A/C and heat pump disconnects.
Run new circuits for gas furnaces, air handlers, and other equipment.
Help with electrical panel replacements and generator installations.
Support various miscellaneous electrical tasks for residential and light commercial customers.
Maintain high safety standards and learn proper trade techniques.
