IES is seeking a Residential Service Electrician to perform electrical service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work for residential, commercial, and operational environments in the Leander, TX area. You will diagnose issues, review plans, and communicate timelines with customers while ensuring safety standards and codes compliance.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of experience in electrical service, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2-4 years of electrical service/maintenance experience preferred.
• Relevant industry certifications or licenses preferred, and required where necessary to perform job duties.

Responsabilités

• Perform electrical service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work on electrical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical service issues in residential, commercial, or operational environments.
• Review service requests, project plans, specifications, and work orders to support accurate job completion.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable electrical codes.
• Communicate with customers regarding service needs, repairs, timelines, and recommendations.
• Coordinate with employees, vendors, subcontractors, and internal departments regarding service activities and operational needs.
• Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation related to electrical work and customer interactions.
• Support project timelines and assist with resolving operational concerns in the field.
• Monitor tools, equipment, materials, and job site conditions to support operational efficiency and safety.
• Assist with supporting and training less experienced technicians as needed.
• Maintain professionalism and effective communication throughout all customer and operational interactions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
