IES Residential in Centennial, CO is seeking an experienced Residential Electrical Service Technician to perform service calls, repairs, and maintenance for residential customers. The role requires strong troubleshooting, adherence to NEC codes, and the ability to read schematics and blueprints.

You will work both independently and with a service team to ensure safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Minimum 2–4 years of experience and a Colorado Residential Wireman License are required.

Qualifications

• Current Colorado Residential Wireman License (minimum requirement).
• Proven experience as a residential electrician or service technician.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

General Job Description: Residential Electrical Service Technician

Compensation: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour, depending on experience and skill level

We are seeking an experienced Residential Electrical Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality electrical service and maintenance to residential customers, ensuring safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction. You'll work both independently and as part of a dynamic service team to troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform service calls, repairs, and maintenance on residential electrical systems
• Diagnose electrical issues and provide effective solutions while adhering to NEC and local codes
• Install, replace, and upgrade wiring, panels, outlets, fixtures, and other electrical components
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, team members, and other stakeholders
• Follow all company safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment

Pay: Min USD $25.00/Hr. Max USD $40.00/Hr.

Minimum Years of Experience: 2-4

Specific Qualifications

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in various environments including confined spaces, attics, and outdoor conditions
• Frequent standing, bending, climbing, and use of hand and power tools
• Must be comfortable working on ladders and at heights as needed
