Job summary

IES Residential in Centennial, CO is seeking an experienced Residential Electrical Service Technician to perform service calls, repairs, and maintenance for residential customers. The role requires strong troubleshooting, adherence to NEC codes, and the ability to read schematics and blueprints.

You will work both independently and with a service team to ensure safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Minimum 2–4 years of experience and a Colorado Residential Wireman License are required.

Qualifications

• Current Colorado Residential Wireman License (minimum requirement).
• Proven experience as a residential electrician or service technician.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform service calls, repairs, and maintenance on residential electrical systems
• Diagnose electrical issues and provide effective solutions while adhering to NEC and local codes
• Install, replace, and upgrade wiring, panels, outlets, fixtures, and other electrical components
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, team members, and other stakeholders
• Follow all company safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
