Job summary

LGTC Group seeks compassionate counselors to join its eating disorder residential facilities in San Jose and Los Gatos. We support adolescents (12–17) and adults (18–59) on their recovery journey, providing crisis support, group sessions, and modeling healthy eating behaviors.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, or related fields, experience with adolescents, strong communication, and the ability to work weekends as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, social work, or other relevant fields preferred.
• Experience working with adolescents.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Typing and documentation proficiency.
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
• Ability to work a weekend day on a weekly basis.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all clients.
• Lead therapeutic groups for clients.
• Sit with clients during meals and snacks to provide support and model healthy eating behaviors.
• Prepare meals and snacks, follow proper food hygiene protocols.
• Assist with cleaning as needed.
