Job summary

Monte Nido & Affiliates, LLC seeks a compassionate Residential Counselor to support clients in our eating disorder treatment program. You will provide direct care, monitor safety, support therapeutic groups and meals, and help clients practice healthy coping skills.

Qualifications

• Experience providing direct residential care in a structured setting.
• Ability to document observations accurately in EHR.
• Crisis de-escalation and safety-focused practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct residential support to clients in a structured therapeutic setting.
• Monitor client safety, behaviors, and adherence to treatment plans; accurately document observations.
• Support therapeutic groups and meals, modeling healthy coping and communication skills.
• Collaborate with clinical, nursing, and dietary teams to reinforce individualized care plans.
• Assist with milieu management and crisis de-escalation while upholding program rules.
• Maintain a clean, safe, recovery-focused environment in line with agency policies.
• Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and team meetings for professional growth.
