Job summary

LGTC Group in California seeks a registered dietitian to lead nutritional care for clients living on-site in a residential program. You will work with adults and adolescents, designing meal plans, supporting meals, and guiding families as part of a collaborative treatment team.

You’ll collaborate with psychiatric providers, nurses, and therapists to ensure integrated nutrition care. On-site onboarding, supervision, and ongoing education are provided in a CARF-accredited setting.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian or eligible for registration; current licensure per state requirements.
• Didactic program in dietetics and ACEND-accredited supervised practice.
• Graduate degree required for new CDR eligibility (2024).
• Six months of dietary experience in healthcare; ED experience training on site.

Responsibilities

• Complete nutritional assessments at admission and build individualized plans.
• Design and adjust meal plans as clients progress.
• Provide meal support and coaching at the table.
• Monitor and manage refeeding risk with medical staff.
• Collaborate with kitchen on menus and therapeutic diets.
• Run nutrition groups and individual sessions.
• Engage with families, especially for adolescents.
