Job summary

The Opportunity Tree is seeking a Residential DSP Supervisor II in Arizona to lead DSP-Residential staff in supporting Members with developmental disabilities. You will supervise scheduling, health and safety tasks, and ensure documentation is accurate and timely.

Responsibilities include calendar management, data collection, and maintaining a safe home environment in compliance with licensing standards. Qualifications include at least 18 years old, a valid Arizona driver license with acceptable

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Arizona driver license with clean MVR as per TOT insurance.
  • Excellent written/spoken English communication.
  • Experience in IDD field preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Basic MS Office skills and web browsing.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise DSP-Residential staff, schedules, and timekeeping approvals.
  • Monitor Members’ health, safety, and daily living activities.
  • Maintain monthly activity calendars and ensure they are posted.
  • Collect data and report quarterly.
  • Manage records and paperwork per timelines.
  • Maintain safe home environment per AZ Licensing Standards.

Residential DSP Supervisor II

The Residential DSP Supervisor directs the work of the DSP to support and assist Members with developmental disabilities in developing/enhancing basic living and other life skills, promoting independence and individual choice.

  • Supervision of DSP-Residential work, schedules, and timekeeping approvals.
  • Supervision of the Members’ health, safety, and security to include assistance with Activities of Daily Living (eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, ambulation, and continence).
  • Ensure the monthly activity calendars are completed, posted, and maintained.
  • Responsible for the data collection and reporting on a quarterly basis.
  • Responsible to maintain all other records/paperwork and submit documentation per assigned timelines.
  • Maintain safe home environment in keeping with Arizona Licensing Standards/TOT Policy.
  • May work in the function of a DSP-Residential.
  • Maintains confidentiality of information regarding Members and TOT.
  • Advocate on behalf of the Members and their families to ensure individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities have a voice.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • Arizona driver license with Non-Restricted Motor Vehicle Record and compliance per the requirements of TOT’s insurance carrier.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to write, speak, and listen effectively in English.
  • Experience: Preferred in the Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) field.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED.
  • Knowledge: Beginner MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, web browsing.
  • Personal enthusiasm for participation in a non-profit organization, which provides services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Positive attitude and ability to represent TOT effectively in the community. Ability to work collaboratively as a team member with Members, staff, families, funders and stakeholders.
  • Successfully meet AZ-DPS requirements for Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • Skills to include but not limited to knowledge of principles in staff interaction, task productivity, time management, problem identification and resolution administration.

  • Sit, stand, walk for extended periods.
  • Finger, hand, and wrist dexterity to eye.
