Responsibilities

• Oversight of the Residential Department with senior staff; provide care and treatment for clients.
• Ensure residential systems are followed and provide daily on-call coverage.
• Monitor scheduling procedures and staffing ratios; enforce accountability.
• Lead residential meetings and trainings and run shifts when needed.

Job description

Are you the Residential Director we have been looking for? In this position, you will be able to convey your passion for helping others by leading a dynamic team and bringing an energetic and positive approach while working with our clients!

Rising Futures Young Parent Living Program (Formally known as the Teen Parenting Program) is a DCF and DTA funded residential program for teen parents who are pregnant and/or parenting. We provide apartment style living in a staff supported environment. The YPLP offers services including independent living and parenting skill groups, education and job search support, day care and medical referrals, housing search and aftercare support.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $60,000 to $77,000per year. The listed range reflects what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting the position. The actual compensation an employee is offered may vary based on several factors such as experience, education, licensure, certifications and qualifications. This range may be modified in the future.

Due to the nature of our work and the youth who are depending on us, there are times where overtime may be mandated.

JRI Provides The Training So That:

• YOU will be able to oversight of the Residential Department with the Senior Residential Department members and provide care and treatment of our clients.
• YOU will be able to ensure all Residential systems are being followed and completed on a daily basis and provide on call coverage.
• YOU will be able to provide constant oversight of scheduling procedures; staffing ratios are being met at all times and provide accountability and disciplinary action decisions as needed for all Residential Staff.
• YOU will be able to lead residential meetings andtrainings, andrunsresidential shifts when needed.

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 3-5 years in a Supervisor/Management role in a residential or mental health programrequired.
• Oncallresponsibilities, at times you willbe requiredto work overtime.
• Maintains valid driver’s license as transporting clients is required.
• At JRI, you will learn to provide physical interventions and verbal de-escalations to provide the safest therapeutic atmosphere for our clients!
