Job summary

RHA Health Services seeks a Direct Support Supervisor to oversee two or more direct care staff in our residential settings. You will participate in hiring, training, and performance reviews, ensuring service quality and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include scheduling, coaching staff, and providing after-hours coverage as part of the care rotation, with emphasis on person-centered supports and safety for individuals with developmental and mental health needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; an Associate Degree in a health-related area or two years’ health-related experience preferred.
• One year of experience working with individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
• Flexible schedule with on-call coverage as needed.
• CPR, first aid, NCI and/or MedTech certifications are a plus.
• Pre-employment screening including background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of two or more employees.
• Follow policies and laws in supervision, hiring recommendations, and training.
• Plan, assign, and direct work; review performance and provide coaching.
• Ensure staff meet training requirements and attend required events.
• Provide after-hours and on-call coverage as part of rotation.
• Monitor and give feedback on staff interactions with people supported.
