Job summary

Arc GLOW is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide daily care for individuals with developmental disabilities in home settings. You will support daily living skills, activities, and outings as part of a team.

Starting pay is $19.25 per hour for part-time and full-time roles, with weekend, overnight, and evening differentials. Responsibilities include documenting data, transporting as needed, and helping plan activities.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to use a computer.
• Willingness to work in a team environment.
• Physical ability to transfer and lift individuals with mobility needs.
• Valid NYS driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provides daily care to people with developmental, intellectual and/or physical disabilities.
• Assists with personal care needs.
• Plans and participates in daily activities with small groups.
• Documents program data accurately and timely.
• Provides transportation as needed with agency vehicles.
• Uses various software platforms for job functions.
• Full-time DSPs in residential program must obtain/maintain medication certification.
• Meal preparation.
