Job summary

Arc GLOW seeks Direct Support Professionals to provide daily care for individuals with developmental disabilities in home settings, working with a team to support daily living skills, activities, and outings. Documentation and transportation support are part of the role.

Starting pay is $19.25 per hour for part-time and full-time positions, with weekend, overnight, and evening differentials. Benefits include 401(k) with match, tuition assistance, and affordable medical insurance.

Qualifications

• A valid NYS driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to transfer and lift to assist individuals.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to use a computer.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care to individuals with developmental, intellectual and/or physical disabilities.
• Assist with personal needs and activities.
• Help plan and participate in daily activities.
• Document program data accurately.
• Provide transportation as needed.
• Meal preparation.
• All full-time DSPs in the residential program will obtain and maintain medication certification.
