Job summary

The Arc Carroll County in Maryland seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for its Community Living Department. You will join a team in a small residential setting, helping residents pursue fulfilling lives through daily living assistance and skill-building.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Intermediate computer/keyboarding skills; ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Clean drug screen and criminal record.The Arc provides programs and direct care to vulnerable adults.
• Completion of CPR, First Aid and Certified Medication Technician trainings; other required trainings.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with life skills and household tasks in a small residential home.
• Assist with personal care, meal planning, laundry and light housework.
• Administer medications and provide transportation as needed.
