Job summary

PALS OHIO, LLC in Heath, OH is seeking an In-Home Care Specialist to provide hands-on support to individuals with developmental disabilities. This role involves transportation, personal care, health and dietary support, and documenting services.

You will work as part of a team, follow Individual Service Plans, maintain safety practices, and participate in ongoing training and staff meetings. A high school diploma or GED and a valid Ohio driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School diploma or GED.
• Current Ohio Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
• Criminal Background verification with acceptable clearance.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule and supervise adults with Developmental Disabilities.
• Ability to work as a team member and communicate effectively.
• At least one year of healthcare experience or working with individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Safely provide transportation as needed.
• Insure all safety equipment is in good working order.
• Responsible for Individual supervision and support.
• Documentation including transportation, billing and program documentation.
• Contributes to staff meetings and follows company guidelines.
• Provide person-centered support per Individual Service Plans.
