ADVOCATE HEALTHCARE SERVICES in Ohio is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide direct care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, supporting daily living, behavior plan implementation, and skill development.

You will implement behavior plans, document daily data, and assist with transportation when needed. Requires a high school diploma and CPR/First Aid/Medication certifications; in-person, full-time role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medication Certification, CPR Certification and First Aid Certification required.
• Candidates must reside within a 25-mile radius of the work location.
• In-person, full-time DSP position with direct care responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Implement Behavior Support Plans to improve skills and reduce challenging behaviors.
• Assist with activities of daily living per BSP/ISP goals.
• Complete daily data, time sheets, and communications logs.
• Transport clients in a personal vehicle as needed for BSP/ISP goals.
• Maintain home/facility cleanliness and safety during shifts.
