Compass Group USA, via Chartwells Higher Education, seeks a Residential Dining Services Director for FAU Jupiter Campus. This leadership role drives the on-site dining program, ensuring client satisfaction while managing costs and operations across the residential dining services.

The Director will lead salaried managers and hourly staff, oversee budgeting, procurement, food safety, and service quality, and collaborate with campus stakeholders to elevate the dining experience at FAU Jupiter

Qualifications

• Bachelor or related degree preferred; or A.A. with relevant experience.
• 5–7 years in direct foodservice operational management with inventory and purchasing knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of food trends, quality, sanitation, cost controls and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Manages salaried managers and hourly associates in the Food Service Department.
• Oversees overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the account.
• Interviews, hires, and trains associates; plans, assigns, directs work; appraises performance; rewards and disciplines associates; manages budgets.
• Utilizes company systems for required reports (inventory, cash, production records, payroll).
• Oversees food/beverage preparation per HACCP/OSHA guidelines and portion control.
• Other duties as assigned.
