Job summary

Community and Family Resources is seeking a Counselor to provide substance abuse and gambling treatment services on the Adult Men's Residential Unit. The role includes conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, facilitating group sessions, and providing educational programs.

Qualifications include a relevant Bachelor’s or Master's degree, CADC or IADC certification, and knowledge of substance use treatment principles.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in social or behavioral sciences.
• Three years experience can substitute degree requirement.
• Must seek CADC and IADC certification after hire.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and assist clients with treatment plans.
• Provide educational sessions and maintain case records.
• Facilitate treatment groups and community education.
