Job summary

Brockton Area Multi-Servi (BAMSI) is seeking a Residential Counselor in Carver, MA to support adults in group living environments. You will implement treatment plans, assist with ADLs, and help residents build independence under clinician guidance.

MAP certification is required or must be completed within 3 months; a valid driver’s license, strong English skills, and trauma‑informed care approach are essential. This role offers comprehensive benefits and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• MAP certification required; willing to obtain within 3 months if not current.
• Teach ADLs and socialization skills.
• Implement treatment plans under clinician guidance.
• Administer/supervise medications per MAP guidelines.
• Transport residents to appointments and activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean living environment and complete timely documentation.
• Strong English communication and basic computer skills.
• Valid driver’s license and mobility support.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative support to adults in Group Living Environments (GLE).
• Foster skills for daily living and community integration.
• Administer medications per MAP guidelines under supervision.
• Teach daily living tasks and coping strategies.
• Transport residents to appointments and activities.
