Job summary

BAMSI - Brockton Area Multi-Servi provides rehabilitative support to adults in group living environments, teaching daily living skills and community integration. The MAP-certified staff work under clinician guidance to implement treatment plans and ensure medication administration according to MAP guidelines.

Candidates need a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license; bilingual abilities and trauma-informed care are valued.

Qualifications

• MAP certification is required; must obtain within 3 months if not currently certified.
• High school diploma or GED; mental health experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to assist with mobility.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative support to adults in Group Living Environments to foster daily living and community integration.
• Teach ADLs such as cooking, budgeting, and medication management.
• Implement treatment plans and behavioral interventions under clinician guidance.
• Administer and supervise medications per MAP guidelines and document care.
• Transport residents to appointments and community activities.
• Advocate for residents’ needs and model healthy coping strategies.
• Maintain a safe, clean home environment and complete timely documentation.
