Job summary

BAMSI, Inc. in Berlin, MA is seeking a Residential Counselor for the MAP program. You will provide rehabilitative support to adults in Group Living Environments, teaching daily living skills and facilitating community integration.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, administering medications per MAP guidelines, transporting residents to appointments, advocating for needs, and documenting care in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• MAP certification is required or willingness to obtain within 3 months.
• Experience in mental health or disability services preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required and mobility assistance may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Teach ADLs (cooking, budgeting, etc.) and socialization skills.
• Implement Treatment Plans and behavioral interventions under clinician guidance.
• Administer/supervise medications per MAP guidelines and document care.
