Job summary

BAMSI in Brockton, MA is seeking a Residential Counselor for the MAP program to provide rehabilitative support to adults in Group Living Environments, helping with daily living and community integration. You will teach ADLs, implement treatment plans, dispense medications as directed, and accompany residents to activities.

Requirements include a high school diploma/GED, a valid driver’s license, strong English communication, compassion, and a trauma-informed approach; bilingual abilities are a

Responsibilities

• Teach ADLs (cooking, budgeting, medication management) and socialization skills.
• Implement treatment plans and behavioral interventions under clinician guidance.
• Administer/supervise medications per MAP guidelines and document care.
• Transport residents to appointments and community activities.
• Advocate for residents’ needs and model healthy coping strategies.
• Maintain a safe, clean home environment and complete timely documentation.

Pay Range: $20 - $21.25

Schedule: (25 hours) Saturday 10a-6p, Sunday 9a-7p, Monday 4p-8p, Friday 5p-8p
