Job summary

Open Sky Community Services seeks a Residential Counselor to provide direct care and skill-building support in residential and community settings. You will help individuals with daily living activities, transportation, and personal goal attainment while promoting independence and safety.

The role emphasizes advocacy, inclusion, and meaningful community participation, with a trauma-informed, anti-racist workplace culture and opportunities for growth and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, required.
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record, required.
• Reliability, willingness to learn, and being open to new opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing individualized, person-centered service and support plans and play an active role in their implementation.
• Provide support with daily living activities, skill development, and personal goal achievement.
• Assist individuals with accessing transportation and community resources as needed.
• Implement activities that promote community inclusion, relationship building, personal growth, and the development of valued social roles.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment that promotes the health, safety, and well-being of individuals served.
• Review, complete, and maintain all required documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
