Job summary

Open Sky Community Services seeks a Residential Counselor to support individuals in achieving greater independence within residential and community-based settings. You will assist with daily living activities, skill-building, community participation, and goal attainment in a safe, supportive environment.

You will advocate for people served, promote self-determination, and document progress accurately while collaborating with teams to ensure person-centered plans are implemented effectively.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, required.
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record, required.
• Reliability, willingness to learn, and being open to new opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing individualized, person-centered service and support plans and play an active role in their implementation.
• Provide support with daily living activities, skill development, and personal goal achievement.
• Assist individuals with accessing transportation and community resources as needed.
• Implement activities that promote community inclusion, relationship building, personal growth, and the development of valued social roles.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment that promotes the health, safety, and well-being of individuals served.
• Review, complete, and maintain all required documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
