Job summary

Open Sky Community Services, Inc. is seeking a Residential Counselor to support individuals in residential and community-based settings.

You will assist with daily living activities, skill development, and community participation to help individuals achieve independence and meaningful lives. The role emphasizes safety, advocacy, and documentation, with a focus on person-centered planning, community inclusion, and self-determination.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record required.
• Reliability, willingness to learn, and openness to new opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing individualized, person-centered service and support plans and play an active role in their implementation.
• Provide support with daily living activities, skill development, and personal goal achievement.
• Assist individuals with accessing transportation and community resources as needed.
• Implement activities that promote community inclusion, relationship building, personal growth, and the development of valued social roles.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment that promotes health, safety, and well-being of individuals served.
• Review, complete, and maintain all required documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
