Job summary

Worcester County Developmental Center (WCDC) is seeking a Residential Counselor to provide direct support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role oversees the daily activities of a residence and ensures continuity of services when the Residential Coordinator is not on duty. Schedule is 7 on 7 off, with most shifts from 2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

on weekdays and 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license and approved to transport clients.
• Education: High School Diploma/GED required; CNA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily activities of the residence for individuals with IDD.
• Provide continuity of services when the Residential Coordinator is not on duty.
• Maintain records and complete daily documentation.
• Assist individuals with activities of daily living and transport as needed.
