Job summary

A leading nonprofit health and human services organization in Wilmington is seeking a Residential Counselor to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role involves providing direct care, administering medications, and assisting with daily activities. Applicants need a high school diploma and related experience is preferred. Qualifications

• Experience working with people with developmental disabilities and/or brain injury strongly preferred.
• All applicants must be at least 21 years of age and have a current, valid, US drivers' license for at least 6 months.
• Must be able to become CPR, First Aid certified within 2 weeks of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Administer medication and implement treatment plans.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including cooking and household chores.
