Justice Resource Institute Inc. seeks a Residential Counselor to support adolescents in a 24/7 Intensive Residential Treatment setting. The role focuses on delivering engaging activities, maintaining a therapeutic environment, and guiding youth in life skills like cooking and budgeting.

The position offers evening/weekend shifts, a pay range of $19.00 to $25.00 per hour, and opportunities for professional development and bilingual bonuses.

TheMerrimack Centeris an Intensive Residential Treatment Program for adolescents that specializes intraumainformed care.The Merrimack Center provides 24-hour comprehensive care including a school on site, a full clinical staff, nursing staff, and direct care staff.

Schedule: Set days of Thursday and Saturday 3:00PM - 11:00PM, the remaining 24 hours will vary week to week based on the needs of the program.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $19.00 to $25.00 per hour. The listed range reflects what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting the position. The actual compensation an employee is offered may vary based on several factors such as experience, education, licensure, certifications and qualifications. This range may be modified in the future.

Due to the nature of our work and the youth who are depending on us, there are times where overtime may be mandated.

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Maintains valid driver’s license as transporting students is required.
• Available to work evenings, holidays, weekend shifts as required.
• At JRI, you will learn to provide physical interventions and verbal de-escalations to provide the safest therapeutic atmosphere for our students!
• Background and driving record checkswill be performed.
