Job summary

Community Resources For Justice (CRJ) in Westborough, MA seeks Residential Counselors for a full-time, 32-hours/week role at a starting rate of $18/hr. The position is based in Westborough and is eligible for benefits, with opportunities for training and career advancement.

You'll supervise and transport clients, teach new skills per the Individual Service Plan, model positive behavior, and administer medications with proper documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must pass required certifications in the allotted time set forth by the agency.
• Must pass a criminal and driver's check.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and transport clients during assigned hours.
• Support and teach clients new skills including, but not limited to, goals in the clients' Individual Service Plan.
• Act as a positive role model to support attaining the highest quality of life while maintaining safety.
• Administer medications and complete documentation such as progress notes and attendance.

What you'll do

• Supervise and transport clients during assigned hours; this may include job interviews, medical appointments, weekly recreation, religious services, and shopping trips
• Support and teach clients new skills including, but not limited to, specific goals in the clients' Individual Service Plan
• Acting as a positive role model for the client to support attaining the highest quality of life while maintaining their safety in all settings
• Administering medications and completing appropriate documentation in a timely manner, such as progress notes, weekly summaries, and attendance
