Job summary

Community Resources For Justice (CRJ) is seeking Residential Counselors to join our compassionate team in Westminster, MA. This full-time, non-exempt role offers a starting wage of $18 per hour and eligible benefits.

You will contribute to training and support for individuals served, helping them achieve daily goals. You’ll supervise and transport clients, assist with personal development, and document progress.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Desire to make a genuine difference in the lives of others.
• Must pass required certifications in the allotted time set forth by the agency.
• Must pass a criminal and driver’s check.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and transport clients during assigned hours, including interviews, medical appointments, recreation, religious services, and shopping.
• Support and teach clients new skills aligned with their Individual Service Plan.
• Act as a positive role model to maximize quality of life while ensuring safety.
• Administer medications and document progress notes, summaries, and attendance promptly.

This is a Full-time,40 -hours/week , non-exempt position that will be working in our Westminster, MA location.
This position is eligible for benefits and has a starting rate of $18/hr.

Schedule: First/Second shifts

What you’ll do

• Supervise and transport clients during assigned hours; this may include job interviews, medical appointments, weekly recreation, religious services, and shopping trips
• Support and teach clients new skills including, but not limited to, specific goals in the clients’ Individual Service Plan
• Acting as a positive role model for the client to support attaining the highest quality of life while maintaining their safety in all settings
• Administering medications and completing appropriate documentation in a timely manner, such as progress notes, weekly summaries, and attendance
