Community Resources For Justice (CRJ) in Winchendon, MA, is hiring Residential Counselors. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, non-exempt, with a starting rate of $20/hr and benefits eligibility.

The position is based at our Winchendon location, and offers training to advance your career. As a Residential Counselor, you will supervise and transport clients, help them develop new skills per their Individual Service Plan, and model positive behavior to enhance quality of life and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Desire to make a genuine difference in the lives of others.
• Must pass required certifications and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and transport clients during assigned hours; this may include job interviews, medical appointments, weekly recreation, religious services, and shopping trips.
• Support and teach clients new skills including, but not limited to, specific goals in the clients’ Individual Service Plan.
• Acting as a positive role model for the client to support attaining the highest quality of life while maintaining their safety in all settings.
• Administering medications and completing appropriate documentation in a timely manner, such as progress notes, weekly summaries, and attendance.
