Job summary

Phoenix House Florida is seeking a Program Manager (Supervising Counselor) to lead a team of counselors in a residential setting. You will supervise staff, oversee assessments, individual/group/family counseling, and ensure the quality of clinical programming and documentation.

You will maintain compliance with CARF and state standards, manage caseloads, and support relationships with community partners. The role requires strong leadership, empathy, and collaboration within a dynamic treatment

Qualifications

Must possess a master's degree in a related field.
Minimum three years of professional experience in substance use counseling and/or mental health counseling.
Experience supervising counselors and managing clinical teams.
Proven ability to develop and monitor treatment plans and progress notes.

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage assigned counselors at the Citra Residential Center.
Recruit, interview, and assist in hiring decisions for clinical staff.
Provide staff orientation and ongoing training on clinical policies and procedures.
Develop and review treatment plans ensuring SMART goals and client involvement.
Maintain client charts to meet CARF and state standards using Welligent EMR.
