Job summary

The Drees Company, operating as Drees Homes in Cleveland, OH, is seeking a Cost Estimator to join our Purchasing office. The role focuses on costing, estimating, pricing, and cost analysis for residential homes, working 8 AM–5 PM with additional hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills including Excel.
• Analytical, detail-minded and a good communicator.
• Experience in Construction Management, Construction Technology, Accounting or related field.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with trade partners and oversee cost codes.
• Prepare detailed estimates and purchase orders for all product in a timely manner with accuracy.
• Utilize estimating software to verify take-offs and resolve disputes.
• Update and maintain bid pricing from all vendors.
• Establish working relationships with vendors/subcontractors to enhance communication.
